Painted in Wickenburg, AZ – February 2025
For this project, the client simply said, “Surprise me.” His home sits on 20 acres at the top of a hill, surrounded by ranches in one of the roping capitals of the West. I wanted the mural to tie in with the rustic charm of its surroundings, so I created a scene where horses greet you as you pull into the driveway. To work around some pipes coming out of the wall, we designed a horse trough—making it look as if the horses are drinking from it. If you look closely, you can even spot their reflections in the water.
